Product for Learning

From next week, this newsletter is going to have a new name: Product For Learning.

I began writing this newsletter a year ago, to share the amazing stories I have been collecting from people leading innovative learning organisations about the practical things that helped them to be successful. I will be continuing to do this every fortnight.

I called the newsletter EdTech Fellowship, as the original subscriber list was the alumni from my course. Alongside this, I began running meetups and started to collaborate with the brilliant Marion Trigodet who was also exploring building a community of EdTech practitioners and we brought this together under the same brand.

We’ve enjoyed bringing these communities together and creating quality connections. Now, we’re moving on from this chapter and separating out our different initiatives — our writing, courses, and community work — in order to give us greater flexibility and more time to focus on creating even more valuable experiences.

What this means for you:

Every fortnight I will continue to share case studies and insights on using product thinking for learning and feature guest posts from leading practitioners such as Marion. It’s still this Substack but under the name Product For Learning. You don’t need to do anything.

If you think there’s a great case study I should explore or you’re interested in contributing a guest article, get in touch.

I’m relaunching my successful cohort course as a more flexible coaching programme, with group, one-to-one and team options. It’s called The Product Method for transformative learning and is fuelled by the research I’ve been publishing here.

I will also continue to run face-to-face gatherings for those of you in London and support the alumni of my programmes. Plus, I’m available for fractional hands-on work for the right projects.

Meanwhile Marion has started the second cohort of her programme on Designing Learning As A Product this week and continuing her thought leadership for learning teams.

If you're looking to optimise your learning design systems and refine transformative learning experiences, contact her via LinkedIn.

Join us on Tues 18th for our final online EdTech Fellowship meetup, in its current guise. A celebration of our shared journey and a glimpse into what we’re offering next.

See you next week, with Product for Learning.
